The link between all the players of a project across continents
Technip TPS has developed, to be used by all the players in construction projects, a computing tool for production, exchange, and archiving of documents as well as financial management, called eGID®.

eGID® is made up of three modules:
- A financial management module assisting the creation of markets, the drawing up and validation of status as well as the management of modification sheets and service orders. It integrates all the financial management parameters leading to the editing of payment slips.
- A documentary management module assisting all phases of the production process of a project, from creation to archiving. It ensures the traceability and quality of the information managed.
- A mmanagement module for plans on
AutoCAD® enabling the generation of models with automatic filling of cartridges, and the compilation of reference plans (background or summary compilation) and automatic updating with the database.

eGID® groups together all the project documents: plans, texts, tables, photographs. Its functionalities make it a veritable simultaneous engineering and project management tool.

eGID® designed to Windows and Internet standards, is very simple to use and considerably speeds up exchanges between people involved in the project.

Efficiency

eGID® allows exhaustive or filtered information searches, with criteria such as contracts, distributors, subject, etc.

Adaptability
On eGID®, all the parameters can be configured specifically for each project.

Management of documents
he advanced functions of the eGID® enable rapid visualisation of documents, their modifications and real-time work via Internet specifically manage:
- The link between all the documents and their changes (technical specifications, minutes, plans, written documents, letters).
- Distribution for information purposes and validation circuit "online" with approval deadline.
- The validity status of documents.

The coordination or the summary of plans produced by different issuers.

Contract financial management
eGID® integrates a financial management module for works enabling the management of:
- The input, processing, and validation of work status.
- The monitoring of modification sheets.
- Service orders.
- Amendments.

Ergonomics
eGID® has powerful functions that are accessible through adapted ergonomics, respecting Windows standards (use of the mouse, simple menu, conviviality). eGID® continuously helps the user guiding them in their tasks and prioritising the input mode.

Rigour
Access to eGID® is controlled and rights, as well as user profiles, are defined depending on project organization.

Audits
eGID® enables the detailed history of the project to be reconstituted at any moment through information exchanges and document updates.

System architecture
eGID® can be used on Internet and Intranet. The program operates with Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 in Windows (versions 2000, XP, NT, 98, 95).
